REMINGTON COLLEGE SPONSORS TXA 21’S “SANDERS CLAUS” PROGRAM
DALLAS/FORT WORTH, TX - January 4, 2008 – TXA 21 is pleased to welcome Remington College as a sponsor of the station’s “Sanders Claus” program.
Former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Deion Sanders partnered with TXA 21 in January 2007 to create “Sanders Claus,” which is designed to help Dallas/Fort Worth area residents in need. The program has met the needs of various North Texans throughout the past year, from purchasing a new wheelchair for a paraplegic teenager who had outgrown her old one to providing a house for a Gainesville woman who tragically lost her home and her children in a horrific flood.
“Remington College is proud to support the SandersClaus organization’s efforts in the Dallas–Fort Worth area,” said Skip Walls, Dallas campus president. “We are excited about the opportunity to actively participate in this program and help those in need in the local community.”
Sanders Claus airs Sunday evenings between 7 and 8:30 p.m. on the TXA 21 News: First in Prime. More information on the program is available at www.txa21tv.com.
