Chantell Wilson
Program Chair - Pharmacy Technician
I serve as the Pharmacy Technician Program Chair at Remington College, where I have been a dedicated employee for the past 16 years. My professional journey in healthcare includes extensive experience in both retail and hospital pharmacy settings, allowing me to bring real-world knowledge and practical insight into the classroom. This diverse background enables me to prepare students for the dynamic demands of the pharmacy profession, from customer interaction in retail environments to the precision and collaboration required in hospital systems.
I hold a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University. My educational background strengthens my ability to connect with students, understand diverse learning needs, and foster a supportive learning environment.
My teaching philosophy centers on student engagement, accountability, and empowerment. I believe in creating a learning space where students feel encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and apply knowledge through hands-on experiences. I emphasize professionalism, ethical responsibility, and continuous growth, preparing students not only to pass certification exams but to thrive in their careers. My goal is to inspire confidence and competence, helping students recognize their potential and take ownership of their future in healthcare.
