Darhia Williams is a dynamic leader in workforce development, career services, and youth empowerment, with a proven track record of building programs that create measurable impact. As the Director of Career Services, she has led strategic initiatives that connect students to meaningful employment opportunities, strengthen employer partnerships, and improve placement outcomes across multiple programs. Her expertise includes career readiness training, employer engagement, program compliance, and developing systems that support student success from enrollment through job placement.
In addition to her work in higher education, Darhia is the Founder and CEO of The Ivy Garden Learning Academy, a nonprofit initiative focused on providing 24-hour childcare and youth development services. Her work is rooted in addressing real community needs—supporting working families, reducing barriers to employment, and creating safe, structured environments for youth.
Her teaching philosophy centers on practical application, relationship-building, and empowerment. She believes that education should extend beyond theory, equipping individuals with the confidence, skills, and resources needed to thrive in real-world environments.
