I spent over 30 years in the construction field. Mostly in commercial HVACR. I worked on everything from small refrigeration systems to chillers. I am also able to run heavy equipment from backhoes, bulldozers and etc. I have been an instructor now for over 16 years. I tell my students that it does not matter how you get to the top of the hill it matters that you get there. When I feel a student is having a hard time understanding, I look for different ways to get the points a crossed. I want to make sure a student fully understands before moving forward with a new project. I like to see the smile a student makes when it finally clicks. I encourage students to try to think it out and develop them critical thinking skills.
