Ronald spent over 30 years in the construction field, mostly in commercial HVACR. He has worked on everything from small refrigeration systems to chillers. He is also able to run heavy equipment from backhoes, bulldozers and etc. He has been an instructor now for over 16 years. He tells his students that it does not matter how you get to the top of the hill, it matters that you get there. When he feels a student is having a hard time understanding, he looks for different ways to get the points across. He wants to make sure a student fully understands before moving forward with a new project. He likes to see the smile a student makes when it finally clicks. He encourages students to try to think it out and develop critical thinking skills.
