Trina Collins

Campus President/Dean

Trina Collins has 20 years of experience in the post-secondary education industry. Her tenure with Remington College began in 2006, having served in a variety of academic and management roles, including Instructor, Department Chair and Campus Dean. Her experience in the Allied Health industry allows her to connect with students as she helps them throughout their educational journey. As the old saying goes “It takes a village.” Mrs. Collins is very student centered and she believes that students can succeed with support.

She and her team are very in tune with their student population. Mrs. Collins takes pride in helping others to work towards achieving their goals. Her philosophy on education is that everyone should have one. She passionately believes that an education opens doors that would otherwise not open. One who receives an education is no longer limited. A wise person once said, “to teach is to change a life forever.”

When she meets with students during the new student orientation, she sets the tone for perseverance. Quite often, students tend to give up when they are faced with barriers. However, Mrs. Collins emphasizes that success is determined by what one endures. Her favorite event is the Commencement Ceremony. It’s that time of year when it all comes to fruition. It brings her immense joy to see the students who may have struggled to stay the course successfully complete their programs and graduate.
